This new handset was announced 1 month back in China and as of now it is only available there but the good point for HTC is that people there are loving it.
Now what you are going to read might surprise you. HTC sold around 50, 000 units of HTC One E8 in just 15 minutes. This clearly shows how popular this new device is. We always heard Xiaomi making huge sales in China but this time around it is HTC who is seeking the limelight in smartphone loving market of China.
The major reason behind huge sales of HTC One E8 is that it is similar to HTC One M8 in terms of specifications but it comes with plastic body instead of aluminium one. And this has considerably reduced the price of HTC One E8. This new smartphone from HTC is available almost at half the rates of HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5. Moreover, HTC has bid goodbye to their ultra pixel camera technology and are using a normal 13 MP camera in HTC One E8 which is also a real deal breaker for most of he people.
Since HTC One E8 is a complete plastic body smartphone from HTC so one can say that it is the real competitor of Samsung Galaxy S5.
