Nexus Program will Stay with New Android Silver

The news about the Android Silver are not new. What is Android silver?  The Silver programed aimed at promoting premium sales and support for the carrier stores. That also came with another catch. Only the devices running with stock android with no or little customization would be able to go for this update. So options are pretty much limited and only the devices like Nexus 5 Moto X and likewise would qualify to enjoy the Android Silver.

However, in the tech world it has been always seen that one rumour kicks off another. So another rumour that grabbed a lot of attention was that Google is going to kill the Nexus program. It may be very hard to believe it, but the news did attract a lot of attention. But not surprisingly, a Google guy has now said that this is not going to happen.

You can rest assured that the Nexus program is more likely to continue as Dave Bruke, who heads Nexus program and Android engineering at Google dismissed the idea of Nexus being discontinued.

When asked about the Silver program he did not comment but he said that just because something new is coming up does not mean that the Nexus would end. The statement answered multiple question. Firstly it gives weight to the view that the Nexus is not going to end and secondly it also gives great amount of credibility to the rumour that Android Silver may come up in future.

Another revelation makes it clear that it is almost not possible to eliminate the Nexus program. Bruke said that the Nexus the essential to develop new versions of Android, so it is not going to happen. Both go in perfect synergy with each other. The nexus supports the development of newer versions of Android. While the software team develops the Android versions, the hardware teams assembles a new Nexus to run of the platform.

With all that being said, another interesting rumours may pop up. With the Nexus established as a requirement for the android development, many will speculate advent of a Nexus 6. Why not! There may be fair amount of chances of this happening if we are to make some logic out of the issued statements. Anyways stay tuned for more information on further developments.
