We are all familiar with the Sony’s strategy of introducing two different flagships in a calendar year and now Sony has also started introducing the mini versions of the flagships starting from Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. The best thing about the Sony mini versions is that they are as good as their big brothers unlike the mini versions of other manufacturers. Few days back, Samsung announced Samsung Galaxy S5 mini and to be honest it was a complete fail.
Since, the time is nearing when Sony announces its new flagship device we are receiving multiple rumours related to Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. XDA developer DoomLoRD tweeted yesterday pointing out the alleged specification of Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. According to him, the compact version of Xperia Z3 will have 4.5 inch display with 720p resolution. It will come out with snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and 2 GB RAM. It will have a 20.7 MP primary camera and 2.1 MP front facing camera.
Since, Sony has a habit of announcing a new flagship after every 6 months so we may see Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact official announcement in late August. Till then we will have to reply on these specifications and expect something big coming from Sony at least in the mini section of droids.
