Bandits Steal $36 million worth Samsung Electronics in Brazil

Brazil is in news these days because of the FIFA World Cup 2014. And now Brazil has found another reason to be in news.  According to the report, a group of 20 armed men raided the Samsung Factory during the night shift in Campinas and took off Samsung electronics worth $36 million. However, there were no causalities during this incident.

A group of 20 armed men raided the Samsung factory in Campinas during the night shift. More than 200 employees were at work when this incident took place. Bandits took away the mobile from employees and made some of the employees hostages while majority were allowed to work on production units. This whole event lasted for around three hours and thieves loaded 7 trucks with Samsung good and left the scene freely.

Security departments in Brazil are working on this case and according to them someone from inside was involved in this robbery as they had every information about the inside whereabouts of the factory. According to Samsung we are cooperating with the Brazilian authorities and will try our best to avoid such incidents in future.

No progress has been made on the case as of yet.
