HTC released a new teaser for its upcoming smartphone and the company highlighted the impressive HTC 10 camera in it. The main theme for these teasers has been “the power of 10” and the most recent teaser has also followed the same theme. So, by the looks of it, we can assume company wants to convey that HTC 10 camera is ten times better than its competitor. This is our assumption.

The message with latest teaser was:

“World First, World Class, Front and Back. You’ll see”.

So, if we break down this message in small chunks, then we deduce that there’s some new feature coming, something we don’t have in smartphones camera yet. The other half of the message quite clearly states that it is going to be the best smartphone camera and even better than the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

Now this is a huge claim by the company. And remember it is not the first time they have claimed that HTC 10 camera will be the best in the business. Last month, they guaranteed a compelling HTC 10 camera.

Apart from the amazing camera we are also going to witness AMOLED display for the first time in HTC flagship. Well, this is just a rumor at the point and we will have to wait for the final confirmation.

OnLeaks also revealed that the new HTC smartphone will come with USB type C, Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM, 12 MP primary camera with ultrapixel technology and 5 MP front facing camera. HTC has already claimed that HTC 10 Camera will be compelling and better than the 2016 smartphones like S7 and G5.

So, there is a lot of excitement in the market about its camera already. We will have to wait and see what HTC has to offer with this new smartphone to the market.

According to the Chief Financial Officer of HTC, HTC One M10 will offer a very compelling camera. He was referring to MWC 2016 and meant that company has watched all the latest smartphones and their camera technology. Therefore, HTC is very confident that new flagship device will come out with the best and a compelling camera.

Earlier we heard rumors suggesting that HTC One M10 will have 12 MP ultrapixel camera with laser autofocus. This sounds like a downgrade from previous generation M9 which had 20 MP camera but still it failed to deliver. So, now all eyes are on the HTC One M10 camera as everyone is looking forward to what HTC has to show in the camera department.

However, one thing is clear that HTC is going with Ultrapixel technology which means that 12 MP camera with ultrapixel technology will have larger pixels than a normal 12 MP camera. This means it will be able to absorb more light and deliver better quality images. So, one can expect quality images especially in low light conditions.

The image was shared on the official HTC account. From the official HTC One M10 image it is quite clear that it has a metallic frame with a lot of chamfering.

HTC posted this image on their official twitter account with hastag powerof10. One thing is clear that the new flagship will have a metallic frame at least and will have the number 10 in its name. However, at this point we cannot confirm if the phone will follow the same naming scheme of previous One series.

From the leaked HTC A16 images we can tell that it will not be a flagship device.In fact, it looks like a midrange smartphone just like the famous HTC desire series. This new phone has full plastic body with a huge camera and boom sound. The good thing is that boom sound is finally back.

Boom sound has been the trademark of HTC since the days of HTC One M7 but it was missing from the previous HTC A9 flagship smartphone.
