However, Sony Xperia Z5 price in UK is slightly buyer friendly. So, far the cheapest prices in UK we have come across are as follow; £439 for the Xperia Z5 Compact, £525 for Xperia Z5 and £629 for Xperia Z5 Premium. These are early prices for Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone and we expect that prices will fall considerable after 1 month of Z5 availability in the market.

Even the official Sony Xperia Z5 price does not look too good from a buyer perspective but we know that pricing does not matter to die hard Sony fans. Even though the official Sony Xperia Z5 price in Pakistan is not out yet but we expect that the pricing would start from something around 75,000 pkr.

We expect that Sony Xperia Z5 price in Pakistan will follow the normal Xperia price in Pakistan and the official Sony Xperia Z5 price in Pakistan will fall down just after 1 and half month of official release of the smartphones. We have seen this behavior in past with Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Xperia Z2. So, we expect that Sony Xperia Z5 price in Pakistan will follow the same trend.

Apart from the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium other two versions looks more like a disappointment. The concept of launching a premium device with an upgraded display and battery does not sound too good. As a loyal Sony fan we were expecting the premium version to come out with the latest Snapdragon 820 and this would have really made it a premium device. Having said that the Premium version still looks much better than the other Z5 versions.

If you are a Sony Xperai Z3 user just like me then you will not be too much excited with the newly announced Xperia Z5 series. To be honest there is nothing new to push me to buy the new Sony Xperia Z5. Yes, the premium version looks tempting but a 4K display will be too much on the battery.

Now when I look at Sony Xperia Z5 or Xperia Z5 Compact I do not see something new there apart from the camera. So, just because of a better camera sensor and auto focus I would definitely not trade my higher battery capacity. Well, I would have definitely traded it for my Xperia Z3 if they had used the latest Snapdragon 820 but Sony has decided to go with the old and notorious Snapdragon 810.

With quite familiar over heating issues of Snapdragon 810 and nothing new apart from a better camera and fingerprint scanner do you consider Xperia Z5 an upgrade over you Sony Xperia Z3? Well if you ask me then I would say a big NO!!!
