What else can more worse than know that the smartphone you are waiting for is going to carrier exclusive? SmartphoneTechie have some inside news that Amazon phone which will be announced tomorrow is going to be AT&T exclusive. According to our sources AT&T will get exclusivity of the new Amazon phone which means that no other carrier in US will have this phone. This sounds interesting and looks good as far as AT&T is concerned but it definitely shattered the dream of many because not everyone love to buy phone on a contract.
We do not have detailed information whether this exclusivity is time limited like most of the Nokia phones or is it going to be forever. We all know that any new smartphone manufacturer entering the market need to have a strong relation with carrier in the early days and Amazon will not mind it.
We do not know much about the phone yet and we will have to wait to know the exact specifications of the new Amazon phone.
