Finally we have got the detailed specifications of the Xperia Z2a. We heard about it’s launch in Taiwan week ago but at that time we did not have any news or information about the specifications of the phone.
However, today we have got the detailed specifications of this smartphone and looking at the specs sheet it looks like that Xperia Z2a is Xperia Z2 compact. This new smartphone from Sony comes with a 16 GB internal storage with a micro SD card. As you can see that the storage is halved as compared to the Xperia Z2 but still it looks pretty good because it support micro SD card up to 128 GB.
This compact version of Xperia Z2 is plastci made. Though it looks somewhat similar to Xperia Z2 in terms of design but it is plastic made unlike the bigger version. Sony has also reduced the battery capacity by 200mAh but still it has enough juice to keep the device running for at least 1 day.
Other specifications of Xperia Z2a includes a IPS 1080p screen, 3 GB RAM and a processor similar to Xperia Z2. It has a 20.7 MP primary shooter with 2.2 MP front facing camera. It is expected to support both 3G and LTE but it will vary from region to region. The compact version will run on KitKat 4.4 just like its big brother.
