Huawei Announces Honor 6 with Killing Specs

Last year Huawei became the world’s third largest Smartphone manufacturer. This clearly shows that company is aiming high and is all set to give tough competition to companies like Samsung and Apple. Huawei has continued its traditions and announced a new smartphone beast named Honor 6. This new addition in Huawei family is expected to give to tough time to phones like Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 5s. This new smartphone from Huawei is the slimmest phone till date.

Honor 6 weighs 135 g and has a 5 inches 1080p display manufactured by JDI. Company has greatly enhanced the quality of its display and claims that it as good as Samsung Galaxy S5 andmay even surpass it in terms of image sharpness and colour quality. Honor 6 packs a Huawei made Kirin 920 octa core processor which also supports LTE. This means that Huawei Honor 6 has LTE support but it may vary from region to region.

Company has used Sony image sensor in 13 MP primary shooter. So, you may expect it out perform phones like iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5 in terms of image quality. For selfie lovers Honor 6 has 5 MP pixel front facing camera which is believed to take perfect selfies in low light as well. Phone comes with a 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card. To offer a better and smooth user experience company offers 3 GB RAM. This means you will have a lot of free RAM which will offer a new level of multitasking and Android experience.

Improved Power Saver Mode:

One thing Huawei bragged about in the official announcement was the new enhanced power saver mode. It is believed that the company has worked a lot on it and has integrated with the hardware of the smartphone to offer an improved power saver mode to the people. This exhanced power saver mode is expected to offer you a better battery life than your Samsung  S5 and iPhone 5s. Company also made a claim that Kirin 920 is cooler than other processors and this is made possible by using a special aluminium alloy. We will have to wait to see how this improved power saving mode performs under various conditions.
