A couple days back we heard that HTC Desire 516 is making its way to India. And today we have the news that HTC Desire 516 is now finally available in India for just $220. The Indian branch of online store eBay has listed it for $220.
Specifications:
HTC Desire 516 is actually a mid range smartphone with 5 inch display. It has a quadcore snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 302 GPU. HTC Desire 516 has 5 MP primary camera with a 2MP front facing cmaera. It comes with 4 GB internal storage, microSD card support and 1 GB RAM. Unfortunately, it does not run the latest version of sense and has sense 5.1 with Jjelly Bean 4.2. This might turn off many potential buyers since they are getting 1 year old Android version in 2014.
HTC Desire 516 is already available in China and now HTC is keen to expand its availability in various other markets of Asia. At this point we do not have any news if HTC plans to launch it in other countries or not.
