Yesterday we saw Android 5.0 L making its first appearance in Google developers conference. This new Android version is all about flat design with plethora of new features which will certainly change the user experience. In the midst of this huge announcement, we saw HTC pledging to its customer to bring the latest Android version within 90 days on official Facebook page.
HTC posted “We take Android updates seriously. With #HTCAdvantage, we pledge to have the L release on your (M7) and (M8) device 90 days after Google’s code release.”
This post shows that HTC is determined to offer customers a better user experience with latest Android on devices like HTC One M7 and HTC One M8. Where HTC is vowing to offer the latest version of Android to its customers, there are companies which have not still offered Android KitKat 4.4.3. Regular updates with some added features is always welcomed by customers and we have seen that people go for the company which offers regular Android updates.
It is a great step from HTC and it would great if they keep to their promise.
