According to the reports 26% of the iPhone users in Britain has switched to Samsung Galaxy S5. The reason behind there switch is lack of large screen iPhone models hence they prefer Samsung Galaxy S5 because it not only offers a large screen but also some great features like fingerprint reader, heart sensor and others. In Europe about 17% of previous iPhone users have switched to North Korean’s flagship. However, USA is the most loyal region as far as iPhone is considered because only 8% of the users switched to Samsung Galaxy S5.
It is quite surprising that a huge number of iPhone users are switching to Samsung Galaxy S5 considering the fact that there are rumours that new iPhone 6 will have a larger display. However, no release date is confirmed at this point and may be this is the reason why people are leaving iPhone for S5. Even though a good number of people are switching to Galaxy S5 but still it is behind iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s in terms of market share.
Around 11.2% of the phones in UK market iPhone 5c followed by 11% iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy S5 is at the third number with 9% share in the mobile phone market. The new iPhone 6 is expected to hit the market in the fourth quarter so may be we witness few more people switching to Android devices but one thing is crystal clear that after the launch of iPhone 6 a huge number of people will buy it no matter how it is priced.
