A person after setting the proper region on his Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPad Air noticed that the calendar application was acting weird. Calendar application instead of showing the regional holidays was displaying holidays from some other region. After searching on the Internet he found out that calendar was showing regional holidays of Canada, Mexico and Hong Kong. This was quite surprising for him.
He was running IOS 7.1.2 on his IOS devices and this version of IOS seems to be effected with this calendar bug. He then changed his region to UK and US to check if calendar works fine or not. This time around it was working perfectly fine as it displayed correct regional holidays and he concluded that this bug is causing problems for few regions only.
He wrote an email to Apple to update them about this bug. Apple replied to his email stating that there is a software issue which is causing problems in the calendar application and this issue will be fixed in the next update. So, if you are facing the similar issue then you should not panic because it is just software bug and it will be fixed in the next update. However, we do not how much time will it take Apple to roll out IOS 7.1.3.
