Jolla has announced that they will soon launch Jolla Phones in India. This will be possible just because of Snapdeal. The India retailer has agreed to a deal with the Finish company and will bring Jolla Phones in India. This will be the first instance when the Jolla phones will make the first appearance out of India.
Jolla phones were made by group of ex-Nokia developers who worked on Meego OS but when Nokia completely ditched the Meego they came up with their own Sailfish OS with Jolla Phones. These phones are available in Europe through multiple carriers and now they will make their first official appearance out of Europe. According to the reports, Jolla Phones in India will launch within a month and will be available at a very reasonable price tag.
Jolla Phones runs on Sailfish OS which is web based operating system. These phones do not have any physical button as they work on gesture based UI. The best thing about this open source operating system is that it allows you ton install and run Android based applications.
