Though Microsoft has completely dumped the Nokia X series and now we will not see any Nokia Android based smartphone but still the Android community is trying its best to keep Nokia X series alive. If you are Nokia X user then you might be glad to hear that CyanogenMod for Nokia X is now finally available. CyanogenMod 11 based on Android KitKat 4.4 is ported to Nokia X. So, now you can also get the feel of Android 4.4.4 on your Nokia X.
Well, the current version of CyanogenMod for Nokia X is still in testing phase and has a lot of bugs. Three main features WiFi, Camera and Storage are not working at all. So, if you are interested in trying it out then it is highly recommended that you should wait for a a more stable version in which at least all basic and important features are working flawlessly.
Different Android developers at XDA are working together to get the major issues fixed for this CyanogenMod. We are also expecting to see the CyanogenMod for Nokia XL as well. If Android developers are able to fix the issues with second nightly ROM for Nokia X then it would certainly give a new life to Nokia X series.
