Thanks to upleaks, we are able to see the first photos of upcoming HTC Butterfly 2. A number of press images are leaked out on twitter from upleaks. HTC Butterfly 2 is basically the successor of HTC Butterfly and will be exclusive for Japan as the company targets the Asian Pacific market in order to gain some market shares in the Asian market.
From the leaked images it looks like that HTC has decided to stick with design of HTC Butterfly J. So, we might not see any huge difference between the two devices when it comes to design and overall look of the smartphone. There are reports that HTC will go with polycarbonate body and will not use the aluminium body for its HTC Butterfly 2 which will be exclusive for Asia Pacific region. The positive thing about this device is that it will come with added dust and water resistance and will have IP-57 certification in this regard. This would be a huge boost and might be a huge selling point for the company. Moreover, it will have dual stereo speakers but we are not sure if it will pack HTC’s famous boom sound technology.
As far as other specifications are considered it will have 5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with microSD card support and 13MP primary shooter. It will also have a 5MP front facing camera which would result in quality selfies.
