Yesterday we saw the benchmark results for Nexus 6 codenamed Motorola Shamu and we told you that it may have Snapdragon 801 processor. But it seems we were all wrong about it. Today we have the Antutu benchmark results for the Nexus 6 and it shows that upcoming Nexus smartphone will have Snapdragon 805 processor. So, all those rumours suggesting that Motorola Shamu will come with Snapdragon 801 and Adreno 330 are actually false.
According to latest Antutu benchmark results it si confirmed that Motorola Shamu will come with next big thing from Snapdragon. It will Snapdragon 805 chipset with quadcore Krait 450 processor clocked at 2.6GHz and with Adreno 420 GPU. These specifications look amazing and they will certainly kill other devices out there.
Antutu has mentioned this device as Google Shamu in its database system. So, it is clear that it is the next big thing from Google. These results also show that it will have 5.2 inch QHD display. This suound quite absurd because a normal human eye cannot differenciate between FHD and QHD. It is just an extra added burden on the battery. It is also rumoured that Motorola Shamu will have 13MP primary camera with 2.1MP front facing camera. All in all, this device looks promising and the fact that it is a Nexus smartphone then we will certainly have premium smartphone available at reasonable price.
The best thing about Nexus 6 is that it will come with Android L out of the box. This will even enhance the overall performance along with the battery life. This sounds like a good deal and we are anxiously waiting for the official announcement.
