HTC is trying its best to get hold of the Asian market mainly because it is highly lucrative. Previously it was rumoured that HTC Butterfly 2 will only launch in Japan but now it is official that this device will make its official appearance in other Asian countries like India, Hong Kong and Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. HTC Butterfly 2 is now official and will make its way to the market within next 2 months.
HTC Butterfly 2 looks an amazing device in terms of specifications. It has full HD 5 inch display with Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.GHz, 2GB RAM and with 2 internal storage options of 16GB and 32GB with micro SD card. It looks like that HTC has worked pretty hard on the camera for HTC Butterfly 2 as it comes with duo 13MP camera and 5MP front facing camera. We would love to test it out in our HTC Butterfly 2 review. The positive point about this device is that it comes with IP57 certification which makes it both water and dust resistant. It will have 2700mAh battery and will come with Android 4.4.4 out of the box.
For all HTC boom sound lovers, HTC has incorporated Boom sound in HTC Butterfly as well. This is indeed another selling point for the device. All in all, it is nothing less than a proper flagship device and since it is exclusively for the Asian market therefore it will be priced around $500.
