In terms of control over the smartphone market, the biggest player at the moment is Samsung. The South Korean giant has taken huge strides and each release from them is anticipated with great excitement and buzz. They have sold over 200 Million of their Galaxy S phones and are the undisputed kings along with the iPhone in the smartphone arena. Recently, Samsung have announced their new flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Scheduled for a September 3rd release to the media, here is a rundown on what to expect from the handset:
Processor and memory:
When it comes to tasking power of a smartphone, Samsung are not messing around with the Note 4. Touted to be the most powerful smartphone in the world upon its release, the phone comes with a 4GB internal RAM, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, which makes it ideal for various simultaneous multitasking which does not slow down the overall speed of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has Quad HD graphics that will go well with it’s specifications.
Camera:
One of the marquee features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 seems to be the beast of a camera that they are incorporating with the phone. With a brand new 16 MP camera, one of the most powerful in the world, and Optical Image Stabilization with auto-focus and a dual flash, the camera and video graphics are one of the high selling points of this device.
Display:
The Display of the Note 4 comes with the Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen that Samsung smartphones have. They have also included a fingerprint sensor that will provide added security, especially to business users as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the best phone protection available at the moment. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a multitouch screen that allows for tasking various jobs in an easy manner. It also has over 16m colours in its internal memory. Though not confirmed, reports suggest Samsung are going for the Sony IMX240 sensor, a change from the Isocell one they used in the S5.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 alsocomes with the Android v4.4.4, the new KitKat version from Google that the device uses. With further updating available once the software releases, the Operating System allows for good application downloads as well as resale value.
Other features:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also coming out with an ultrasonic cover that can detect movements and adjust accordingly and also help the blind. The Samsung Stylus also makes its way into the device. The camera, on which they have worked specifically comes with three selfie modes and a new GIF mode to create an animated GIF. All the features on the S5 will also be present on the Note 4.
