Finally Meizu MX4 is now official. It is a huge upgrade over the previous generation Meizu MX3. Meizu MX4 has 5.36 IPS display with 1152×1920 resolution. IPS display is coated with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 which offers an added protection to the display. Meizu has focused a lot on the the display of MX4 and has tried its best to make it as one of the best displays available in the market. The company has advertised the display of the upcoming smartphone and has highlighted three main features of the display i.e. 1100:1 contrast, 500cd/m2 brightness and 85% NTSC color gamut.
Meizu MX4 comes with first true octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM and quad-core PowerVR G6200 GPU. On paper these specifications look amazing and we expect that Meizu MX4 will definitely set new benchmark results which will be hard to break for other smartphones. It will not be wrong if we term it as one of the fastest available smartphones till date.
In the camera department, MX4 uses 20.7 Exmor sensor manufactured by Sony. This will greatly enhance the quality of images along with the Meizu dedicated camera application and near to perfect image processing algorithms. The positive point about this smartphone is that it has dua LED flash which will greatly effect the low light images and the positive aspect of the dual LED flash will be prominent in the low light images. Apart from this, Meizu has also used Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the camera sensor as well. This clearly indicates that company is dedicated to offer quality to its customers. However, the front camera disappoints as it is still 2MP. We were expecting it to be around 5MP but still we can expect good selfies from Sony made front snapper.
Meizu MX4 has aluminium body which weights around 150g and is 8.9 mm thick. This device looks amazing and gives a perfect feel and look of a true premium smartphone. This new device from Meizu has 3100mAh battery which will have enough juice to keep device running for at least 1 and half day. Company also claims that built-in battery saving option will great enhance the battery life of the device.
