Last year LG announced LG G Flex which failed to impress people. It was the first smartphone with curved display but was not able perform good in the market as it was expected to. Well, the major reason behind the failure was its huge screen size which kept people away from buying it. However, we have a news that LG is working on a smaller sized LG G Flex 2. It will be the successor of LG G Flex but will come with a smaller display size. This making it more easy and comfortable to us.
According to LG representative from India, the company is already working on the successor of LG G Flex and will release LG G Flex 2 by the end of this year. According to him, LG G Flex 2 will have smaller display size compared to 6 inch of LG G Flex and will pack a full HD display. This looks a huge improvement over a 720p 6 inch display of last year’s G Flex.
He believe that the new generation G Flex will come with display size around 5 inch and will pack the latest Snapdrgon 805 chipset and 3GB RAM. However, the hardware is not yet confirmed. These are expected specifications which we might see in LG G Flex 2.
According to reports, LG G Flex 2 will be launched later this year in Korea and later it will be made available in India and USA.
