Waiting to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S6? The rumored specs are already out!

While the Note 4 maybe relatively new, Samsung has already started working on the successor of the very popular Galaxy S5. Yes we might soon be playing with Samsung Galaxy S6 which is rumored to feature some interesting features & tech.

What is Project Zero?

Well it may sound like the storyline of some action movie of the Hollywood but the Galaxy S6 initiative has been code named as Project zero as confirmed by some of the sources close to SamMobile. They have come forward to share the specifications of this new flagship which is poised to take on the already crowed smartphone market. Wondering why the code name project zero? Well maybe unlike other models, Samsung will be starting from scratch with the S6. We have listed down some of the rumored specs.

Specifications

The android of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is assumed to be lollipop 5.0 and the display resolution would be QHD. The size of the smartphone is not decided yet and remains a mystery. So if its larger than its predecessor, you would have to take it with a pinch of salt.

Camera

The resolution of the camera of S6 would lie in the range of 16 megapixels to 20 megapixels and most probably will come with image stabilization. The front camera with which one can snap hundreds of selfies is said to boost to 5 MP with high quality sensors.

Storage

Samsung Galaxy S6 will see a variation from the standard 16GB storage space and is rumored to come with a storage space of 32 GB up to 128 GB. The capability of micro SD card extension will also be available.

Chipset

The processor of the Galaxy S6 is going to be a 64-bit processor. It is not completely sure whether it will be Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 processor. Exynos 7420 will support the four Cortex-A53 and Cortex-A57. The new feature will also include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth on the same chip with BCM4773. This will not only help in power consumption but will make S6 lighter.

Model number- the model number of the new Galaxy S6 will be along the lines of SM-G920 or 925. It will solely depend on the carrier and version of S6. We will pretty soon find out more about this exciting new phone now that the rumor mill has started.
