The HTC One M9 is set to be released soon, according to rumors. Speculations are that it will probably be released on 2-5 March 2015 to coincide with the Mobile World Congress. Since the image of the phone provided so far is basically a concept render, we can only speculate on its design and specifications.
According to leaks, the HTC One M9 will probably fall in line with the quality design that was embraced by the HTC One 8, complete with an aluminum body and sculpted to fit into your hand. It is speculated to come with a 5.5 inch 2560 x 1440 display, 3 GB of RAM with prospects of being even more powerful than the HTC Once 8 if the rumors that it will include both a hexa-core Snapdragon 808a and octa-core Snapdragon 810 processors hold true. In case the display is realized, then it could fall in line, though on a smaller scale, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
There are also rumors of the HTC One M9 coming with a QHD resolution, which could result in more battery drain. It will supposedly feature a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, which means that HTC could be moving forward from the UltraPixel hardware. The camera will most likely retain the Duo camera element to enable you change focus when you take shots. There is possibility that it could run Android 5.0 Lollipop which is currently available.
In terms of design, the HTC One M9 is speculated to come with a slimmer, more refined build than its predecessor, complete with a waterproof body. The price attached will probably be on the expensive side seeing as it will be a flagship phone. It will probably fall in the £500-£600 range since the HTC One M8 cost around £550 and the HTC One before it fell around £500.
All in all, with the rumored specifications and design, the HTC One M9 does sound like a beastly phone boasting of the best hardware so far and making a good start for the 2015 flagship phones.
