The Sony Xperia z3 is expected to come with a number of new upgraded features from its predecessor, the Sony Xperia Z2. Among the numerous features, this new handset is expected to features a 5.2 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is expected to come in a thinner body and a metal frame with an approximation of 7-mn thin with smaller bezel size. It is also expected to include a quad core 2.5 Ghz krait 450 processor and 3GB of RAM, although its camera is not expected to come with an upgrade, instead remaining at 20.7 MP for the primary camera with improved processing algorithms, however there is still hope for a change in the front facing version from 2 megapixels.

 One distinctive feature that will set the Sony Xperia Z3 from its predecessors is that in addition to its metal frame, it will come coated in PVD coating, in a bid to make it more corrosion and scratch resistant and  more environmentally friendly . With its metal frame and glass back, the device will surely boast of a more sleek design hence making it look good. However, owing to its more angular design and its tendency to look a bit more industrial, the Sony Xperia Z3 may be a tad uncomfortable to hold.

Users anticipate a revamp in its video recording as compared to the Sony Xperia Z2 which came with an ability to record high quality 4k videos but which recordings tended to make the phone grow hot in the process and if the recordings happened to be longer, then the phone had high chances of crashing.
