The official Android L keyboard is available for download in Google Playstore. This new app is already available in the developer preview of Android L. From the developer preview of Android L the apk of Android L keyboard is extracted and tested. This new Android L Keyword works great on devices running Android 4.0 and higher.

 Although, Android L keyboard was previously available to install but only through flashing but now it is as simple as downloading an application from Playstore and installing it. 

Android L keyboard:

 The Android L keyboard looks much tighter and flatter than the previous one, where there is no clear separation between letters. Admit it that it was never easy to type on the previous version of Android keyboard. The new Android  L keyboard does not comes with the fresh look but also comes with easy of access. This new keyboard will certainly assist you in typing as fast as you can without any typos. The button on the right bottom of the key can either be used to show emojis or for the search options. It all depends on you; customize it the way you want to.

If you install the app, you need to go to Settings> Keyboard go and activate L Android keyboard. Go to the advanced settings of the keyboard and change the color scheme to ‘Material’. Now you are all set to use the new Android L keyboard on your device.
