T-Mobile low end version of Nokia Lumia 520 was named Lumia 521. So, this time T-Mobile is planning to adapt the same technique for high end windows smartphone. According to famous eveleaks, T-Mobile plan to call its high end windows phone as Lumia 1525. It will be similar to Nokia’s phablet 1520 with very few differences.
We all know Nokia Lumia 521; T-Mobile exclusive version of Nokia Lumia 520 was different in size. Lumia 521 also has UMTS support otherwise Nokia Lumia 521 is similar to Lumia 520. Making Lumia 521 different was inevitable since AT&T already have Nokia Lumia 520 exclusive rights in the country.
So, we can expect few changes in Nokia Lumia 1525 since AT&T already have Lumia 1520 exclusive rights in the country and T-Mobile would not want to breach the exclusivity by introducing a similar windows phone. According to the rumours Nokia Lumua 1525 for T-Mobile will come with 6 inch display having 490 ppi. It is expected that it will come with 25 MP rear camera and solar charging capability. Sounds great, eh? But we will have to wait till the official announcement.
At the moment T-Mobile is only selling Nokia Lumia 635 and refurbished Lumia 925. So, a new high end windows phone is must for T-Mobile. However, we do not know when it will be official as no date in mentioned in tweet by eveleaks.
