HTC has also made the most out of this technology event and have announced its first 64 bit Android smartphone. HTC has announced HTC Desire 820 which will replace the famous HTC Desire 816. This new mid-range smartphone will mainly target the Asian market but it will be available in other regions as well.

HTC Desire 820 is mid-range smartphone which flaunts great hardware on paper and if priced well it will do wonders for the company. HTC Desire 820 has 5.5 inch 720p Super LCD 2 display. The display is covered with a layer Gorilla Glass 3 to provide it better protection. HTC has stick with the boom speakers and it looks like that company has received positive response and this is why they are sticking with the new boom speakers.
Now speaking about the camera, HTC has worked a lot on the primary camera along with the front snapper in order to offer great photography experience and quality. HTC desire 820 has 13MP primary camera and 8MP front camera. We are greatly impressed to see 8MP front facing camera because it will certainly offer an amazing video calling experience and will fulfill the needs of every selfie lover out there.
Well, HTC has introduced the first ever 64 bit processor in Android smartphone. HTC Desire 820 has 64 bit Snapdragon 615 chipset with octacore processor clocked at 1.5GHz. However, it is too early to claim to this. This device has 2GB RAM and 2600mAh battery. There are news that HTC will also launch a dual sim version of this device but it is not yet confirmed.
