Though HTC has witnessed an overall improvement in revenue despite low par sales but still the company has failed to generate revenue as good as some other companies like Samsung and Apple. This is caused a lot of frustration among the ranks of HTC and they are trying pretty hard to find out the potential ways of boosting up the sales to put the company back on track. However, latest HTC One M8 Windows Phone Edition can really help the company to gain hold of the WP market but still there’s a long way to go.
And now we are hearing some very exciting news related to HTC and TCL. TCL Chairman Li Dongsheng posted on his official Weibo account which clearly hints that Company is looking forward to have new relationship with HTC. If this is true then we might expect something new and ground breaking coming from the partnership of the two. This will certainly pose some serious threats to the likes of Samsung and HTC.
We have seen in past that TCL Chairman has used his Weibo account to reveal behind the scenes operations. We are also familiar with the TCL partnership with Alcatel and how TCL helped the company to get hold of the smartphone market. Now Alcatel is reckoned as a good smartphone manufacturer and it is quite evident from the phone company launched at IFA last month.
Though HTC has managed to show a slight improvement in the profits this quarter but still the overall situation of the company is not great. From the recent announcement what we get is that TCL will invest in HTC in return of shareholding. Thus allowing the company to breath freely.
